Q – If someone died far away would you be able to collect and conduct the funeral?

A – Yes, we collect deceased individuals all around the UK.

Q – Do you conduct funerals of all religions?

A – As we are the first Muslim funeral service to open in the UK since the 1960’s, we specialise in conducting the funerals of Muslims only.

Q – Do the family get to pick their chosen cemetery?

A – It is upto the family where they want to bury their loved ones. We will handle the emails/calls with the cemetery after the family let us know where they wish to rest their loved one.

Q – Can the family choose a specific Mosque/Masjid where they wish for their loved ones Janazah (Funeral Prayer) to be prayed?

A – Families can choose their own Mosque/Masjid where we will take their loved one to for the last prayers.

Q – How much are your fees / when do we pay?

A – Our costs range as every funeral is tailored to each families needs. We believe we have unbeaten prices whilst also providing empathetic services . Payment can be made on the day of the funeral by credit/debit card & bank transfer (before the funeral is conducted).

Q – Does a post mortem have to happen? what if i don’t want it to happen?

A – If a post mortem is to happen (not always needed) , the coroners will give notice to the next of kin. We understand some families do not wish for a post mortem to take place however this will need to be done by law. There is an option of getting a private CT scan done instead of a post mortem (at an aditional cost) however, if results are not found then a post mortem will follow.

Q – How does the viewing procedure work?

A – On the day of the funeral, a private viewing room is allocated to each family where they will spend a minimum 2/3 hours in the morning before the deceased is taken up for prayers. We do get requests for some family members to see their loved one before the burial which we also can accommodate.

Q – How long does it take to bury someone in the UK?

A – This differs in each situation. Some cases are more complex with the local authorities involved whilst others are simple. The paperwork’s may also differ. For more information please contact us directly.

Q – Who are ‘Coroners’?

A – A coroner is a government or judicial official who is empowered to conduct or order an inquest into the manner or cause of death. The official may also investigate or confirm the identity of an unknown person who has been found dead within the coroner’s jurisdiction.

Q – Can i send my loved one back home?

A –  We specialise in both burials & repatriations. We can repatriate to majority of countires. To find out if we can repatriate to your country, contact us directly.

Q – If someone dies at home, what do i do?

A – If the person is dying, contact 999 immediately and they will come and try to help. If the person has already passed away and there are no signs of life, contact their GP if its during their work hours , or 111 after hours. If the ambulance/GP are okay and happy with the cause of death they will then issue you with a ‘Pink form’ OR ‘Death verification’ which will allow us to come and collect the deceased. If they are not happy, the police will be called and the coroners will take the deceased into their jurisdiction for further investigation until further notice.

Q – Do you guys provide a timetable/itinerary of how and when the funeral will take place?

A – Once all bookings and necessary paperwork’s are received, we will contact the next of kin and provide them with an itinerary with timings and locations to ensure everything goes smoothly.

Q – Is the cemetery ‘Gardens of peace’ full? Do they have spaces available?

A – Gardens of peace cemetery have 3 sites. The first site (Elmbridge road) is FULL. The second site (Chigwell) is also FULL. The third site (Maylands Field) is the current grounds for burial
